Parking

HSU Parking meters and parking fees must be paid Monday-Thursday 7:00 am - 10:00 pm and Friday 7:00 am - 5:00 pm, every week (52 weeks) of the year. Parking fees are not required Fridays after 5:00 pm or on Saturdays and Sundays.

Parking permits are $3.50 each and are non-refundable. Daily parking permits can be purchased in advance by calling the CenterArts office at 707-826-3928. For day of the event purchases, permit dispensers may be found in the library parking lot (After 4:45pm), the Parking Kiosk on Harpst Street, and the lot at Union near 14th Street. Parking is available at no cost, in the evenings in Eureka at several lots in close proximity to the Arkley Center. Please allow ample time for parking when attending our performances.

All regulations are in effect 24 hours a day, every day of the year. This includes Service & Yellow Loading Zones, Disabled & Reserved stalls, and Fire Lanes.

 

Driving Directions


John Van Duzer Theatre

From the North

• Take US 101 to the Sunset Ave. exit.

• Take a left at the end of the off ramp.

• Make a right onto LK Wood Blvd.

• Make a left onto Plaza Circle.

The Library parking lot is to the right. Parking Passes may be purchased from the blue parking pass dispenser. Walk around past the front of the library. The Van Duzer Theater is the two story white building directly across from the Library.

From the South

• Take US 101 to the 14th St. exit.

• Continue going straight at the top of the off ramp.

• At the top of the hill, make a right onto Plaza Circle.

The Library parking lot is to the right. Parking Passes may be purchased from the blue parking pass dispenser. Walk around past the front of the library. The Van Duzer Theater is the two story white building directly across from the Library.

 

Kate Buchanan Room

• Follow the same driving directions for the Van Duzer Theatre.

• Walk up North from the Van Duzer Theatre up a small series of stairs to the University Center Quad (near the large clock tower). The Kate Buchanan Room is located in the building that borders the University Center Quad.

• The Kate Buchanan Room is on the second floor of the University Center building.

 

The Depot

• Follow the same driving directions for the Van Duzer Theatre.

• Walk up North from the Van Duzer Theatre up a small series of stairs to the University Center Quad (near the large clock tower). The Depot is located in the building that borders the University Center Quad.

• The Depot is on the first floor of the University Center building.

 

Fulkerson Recital Hall

From the North

• Take US 101 to the Sunset Ave. exit.

• Take a left at the end of the off ramp.

• Make a right onto LK Wood Blvd.

• Make a left onto Plaza Circle.

The Library parking lot is to the right. Parking costs $3.50 on weekdays (Monday-Thursday). Parking Passes may be purchased from the blue parking pass dispenser.

Walk around to the front of the Library and continue up towards the Music Buildings. The Fulkerson Recital Hall is in the new Music Building (window covered lobby).

From the South

• Take US 101 to the 14th St. exit.

The Arkley Center for the Performing Arts

Located in Eureka, CA; 7 miles south of Humboldt State University. It sits between 4th and 5th streets at 412 G Street. 4th and 5th streets are also the one-way avenues of Highway 101. Parking is available at no cost, in the evenings in Eureka at several lots in close proximity to the Arkley Center.
